Interstate 70 exit 31 Primary purpose of district funding is for capital re-investment in the Horizon Drive corridor.  The district is financially co-supporting the current I-70 beautification with the city of Grand Junction.  Work started in early September 2006 and completed in the fall of 2008.  Over 1.3 million in decorative, minor structural, and landscaping improvements.  See "projects" page for further information.

Horizon Drive Community Master Plan  Urban-design firm selection process was conducted through most of 2006 and has been awarded to Carter-Burgess, effective November 2006 official business meeting. Carter-Burgess is the current urban design team working on the I-70 project and the Walker Field Airport.  Stakeholeder meetings were held in 2007 along with a questionair sent to all District owners, managers, tenants and others in order to gather design input. Long-term corridor planning will begin to take shape in 2009. Watch this website for further information.
